Frequently asked

Questions, answered plainly

How the prescription-only telehealth flow works: who reviews your intake, how medication is prepared, and what to expect from shipping and support.

Do I need a prescription for anything on this site?

Yes. Every medication on Van Peptides is prescription only. You submit a short intake, an independent US-licensed provider reviews your history, and only if that provider decides treatment is appropriate does a prescription get written. There is no way to add a medication to the cart, skip the intake, and have anything ship.

Who evaluates my intake, and what happens next?

Intake is reviewed by an independent US-licensed provider. If treatment is appropriate, the prescription is filled by a US-licensed compounding pharmacy and shipped in plain packaging to a United States address. If it is not appropriate, the provider tells you why and no medication ships.

Where is the medication made?

Prescriptions are compounded by a US-licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are prepared under USP standards on a patient-specific basis and are not FDA-approved for safety or efficacy. Individual results vary.

What are 503A and 503B pharmacies?

Depending on the medication and the clinical situation, your prescription may be filled by either a 503A or a 503B partner:

  • 503A pharmacies are traditional compounding pharmacies licensed by state boards of pharmacy. They prepare medications on a patient-specific basis in response to a valid prescription.
  • 503B outsourcing facilities are federally registered with the FDA and follow Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements. They may compound larger batches under stricter oversight and are inspected by the FDA.

Both are US-licensed and prepare medications under USP standards. In both cases the finished compounded medication is not FDA-approved for safety or efficacy. Full details are in our Compounded Medication Disclosure.

Is this covered by insurance?

No. Van Peptides is a cash-pay telehealth service. There is no insurance billing, no HSA/FSA guarantee, and no third-party benefits verification. Pricing shown is the all-in cost of the consultation and the medication together.

How is my health information protected?

Intake is completed over HIPAA-safe infrastructure. Records are shared only with the reviewing provider and the compounding pharmacy that fulfills a prescription. See the HIPAA notice and privacy policy for the full description of who sees what.

How discreet is shipping?

Orders ship in plain, unbranded outer packaging to United States addresses. Nothing on the outside of the parcel identifies the medication or the sender's business. Tracking is emailed only to the address on file.

What if I have a side effect or a question after the medication arrives?

You can message the reviewing provider through the same portal that handled your intake. For pharmacy-specific questions (labeling, storage, refills), the compounding pharmacy that filled the prescription is the correct point of contact and their information is on the medication label.

Can I get a refund?

A consultation fee is refundable up until a provider begins the evaluation. Once a prescription has been written, the medication itself cannot be returned once dispensed, because prescription medications cannot be resold or reused. See the refund policy for the full detail.

Do you ship internationally?

No. Van Peptides ships to United States addresses only. If your shipping address is outside the United States, checkout will not complete.

Is anything on this site FDA-approved?

The compounded medications on Van Peptides are not FDA-approved for safety or efficacy. Some active ingredients (for example semaglutide and tirzepatide) exist in FDA-approved brand-name products at different strengths and formulations. A compounded version prepared for you by a US-licensed pharmacy is a different product and is not FDA-approved.
